How we do it
What happens on the day.
Mulching is a grossly neglected part of tree care. It keeps soil moist and supports earthworms and other soil life that loosen and aerate the ground, encouraging the mycorrhizal fungi that help roots take up water and minerals. Mulched trees resist pathogens and short dry spells better.
